Tedee Lock Battery Drains Too Fast

I have been using the Tedee smart lock for a while now; but I’ve noticed that the battery drains much faster than expected. :innocent: According to the official specs, it should last for months but mine barely lasts a few weeks before needing a recharge.

I am wondering if this is normal behavior / if something might be wrong with my setup. :upside_down_face:

I’ve checked for possible causes like excessive auto-locking, weak Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connections & firmware updates, but the problem persists. :thinking:

I mostly use it via the Tedee Bridge and occasionally through the mobile app. Could background activity; integrations with smart home platforms / even extreme temperatures affect battery life? :thinking:

Has anyone else experienced rapid battery drain with their Tedee lock? If so, were you able to fix it, and what steps did you take? I’d appreciate any advice or insights!

Mine had the same issue, or better has. It was replaced but the new one has lost 40% again in about 12 days.

If there are any products out there that do manage 3 months or more, than you might have a big quality issue on your hands or you might wanna check the items before sending them out, especially replacements.
