Keypad Pro Power Supply and Batteries

Hello,
I just installed the whole set of tedee pro Lock, and key Pad pro.
I run the Keypad pro with a DC 12v 2A Power supply, and it‘s working great.
But I always get the „low battery 1%“ notification, and I don‘t have any batteries inserted, because of the mentioned power supply.

Must I Insert batteries even with the 12v power supply?
I can set which type of batteries, but not a DC power supply.
Would be nice if I could select 12v DC power and it deactivates the battery and the notification.

Hi,
We recommend inserting batteries even when using a DC power supply. This ensures the keypad continues to function in case of a power outage, acting as a backup.

Thanks for your quick response.

When I insert chargeable batteries, will they be charged by the 12v DC power supply?
Or would it be better to use alcaline batteries?

And there will be no problems using the DC power supply AND batteries inserted?
