It would be great to be able to connect remotely to the keypad via bridge wifi.
This would be particularly useful for monitoring keypad battery level in real time, as right now, this only seems to be possible locally, via bluetooth. I have two rental apartments in a different city using tedee locks + bridge + keypad, so it is important to me know the current battery level of all devices.
The connection doesn’t have to be sustained for prolonged periods, as I assume this would drain the keypad battery. So maybe either just have the bridge connect once per week to report current battery level, or allow the connection to be done from the app on-demand, similar to how bluetooth connection works (and auto disconnect after a few minutes timeout).
Hey,
Regarding the keypad battery readings, they are sent to the backend at least once a day to notify users when the batteries need replacement. You can’t see the status in real-time when you are out of Bluetooth range, but you will receive a push notification.

Thank you! I guess the notification is also useful as a last resort solution. But given my use case, with apartments being in a different (far away) city, I would prefer to be able to see the battery level on demand, so I can plan ahead if I need to go to change batteries myself, or ask someone to do it for me.
This sounds amazing as I found it
very much useful and informative to be honest. Also, I have gone through this
post which definitely helped me out a lot as a new member I am looking forward. it is amazing.
