I think since the recent bridge firmware update, my Apple Home app just says “setup needed” on the lock card. If I go into the device, it seems to work and pull the correct status. I have tried to re-pair with HomeKit in the Tedee app as it suggests but then I’m just told this accessory is already paired, and “setup needed” remains. Anyone else experiencing this?
Hi, thank you for reporting the issue. To re-add the lock to HomeKit, you need to reset it to factory settings first. Please remove the lock from the cylinder and place it vertically (button up). Press and hold the lock button until the red LED lights up. Release the button immediately (don’t press it for too long, as it switches the lock off instead of resetting it). The lock will confirm the reset with 3 fast red blinks. Then you have 10 minutes to add it to HomeKit.
