I have an issue, and I don’t know if that is a bug or a feature.
I have by tedee pro connected with bridge to have an access via internet - that works great.
The problem it with using the lock via HomeKit - the HomeKit controls the lock only via Bluetooth - no distance control, only within Bluetooth range.
I read the manual, and it says that it’s via Bluetooth “by default”.
So how to achieve this non-default configuration?
I want to HomeKit to access the lock using the bridge - remotely.
Is it a bug, or feature?
HomeKit cannot control the lock over the Tedee Bridge. You must buy a HomeKit hub (“bridge”), like HomePod mini and HomePod (2nd gen), Apple TV HD / 4K.
