Tedee Keypad owners were promised NFC unlocking on the website, but almost a year after launch there’s still no info on when that’s going to happen. The hardware actually has the NFC chip inside—and that’s something Tedee keeps repeating—but right now, it’s just sitting there doing nothing, waiting for a “future firmware update.”
People have been asking for even a rough time frame, but there’s nothing concrete. It honestly feels like the feature is in limbo, and as each month passes, it gets harder to believe it’ll show up anytime soon. If NFC was a big part of why you bought the Keypad, this is pretty frustrating. Some users are even starting to wonder if there’s a hidden technical problem behind the scenes.
