I’m a new Tedee user and so far it is working really well for me. The only problem I have right now is the Auto Unlock feature with geolocation, I have to often take out the trash and I don’t leave the zone and when I come back home the lock does not auto-unlock. It would be cool if I could disable the geolocation feature completely or to have some grace period after the doors are unlocked.

The Auto Unlock function won’t work without geolocation as it won’t know when you approach your home. For short trips to take out the bins you have a few options.
Don’t close the door so if you use a door sensor it won’t trigger the lock.
You can use the Auto Unlock widget on your phone to manually start the Auto Unlock process.
My personal favourite and the one I use on theses occasions is the fingerprint reader on the keypad pro. It lets you open the door easily after these short trips where you don’t cross the exit zone.
You can also set a longer timer on auto lock if you use that feature. Giving you time to return within a few minutes.
Widget is a good top, thanks! I’m not a fan of fingerprint readers as they do not work well with my skin and I don’t want neighbours to know that I have a smart lock.
It’s a useful option if you have your phone. I’m hoping they will add aliro support to the existing nfc chip or add a new keypad with UWB. That would be awesome and hopefully more reliable than the fingerprint sensor, not that I have any issues with mine but the extra options make the Tedee solution fully flexible for any and all use cases
