Would be nice to have a Small RFID dongel that you can use on your keychain to auto open the lock if you do not want to use your smartphone for that kind of stuff… Also with push button ofcourse… just like the ENTR Smartlock has…
It may be possible with the keypad, not with the lock itself for obvious reasons.
Lack of small RFID dongel stops me to buy this device.
Do they plan to be in the future?
I bought the Adafruit PN532 NFC/RFID breakout board and controlled it with an ESP32, because it’s the only one that can penetrate my 5 cm thick apartment door,
and used the firmware from GitHub - rednblkx/HAP-ESPHome: Apple HomeKit for ESPHome - Alpha WIP .
It works via a digital RFID key on my iPhone and watch, so all I have to do is touch the door handle and it triggers the desired function.
