Only fingerprint sensor or cover plate for Keypad PRO

I use Keypad PRO for my house door (directly from the street) but it looks like we operate AirBnB or so. We use only fingerprint sensor, so we don’t need keypad. If there was a possibility for some subtle and inconspicuous accessory with only fingerprint sensor, I am in. (In emergency - wet fingers etc. I can open via app or physical key).

Or at least some nice cover plate for buttons so only fingerprint sensor remains visible. I plan to model and 3D print it but it will never looks as nice as injection molding plastic.

Thanks

Hi Johny,
That is exactly the device we’re testing right now. It is one year in the development and it should be avaiable for sales in Sep/Nov. I can tell you that I’m testing it right now and it works great.
Once we’ll sign off the testing it will go for mass production.

You mean something like this? PM me for the stl’s i would have shared those here also, but i’m not allowed to upload those or a zip.

Yeah, nice work. I made something more minimalistic. It is slid from above (only gravity) and also hides a security screw that acts as a stopper. Thanks to this, the keyboard itself cannot be removed from the battery cover.

That is also nice. And now that I see your design I realize I’ve completely forgotten a LED hole in mine. :see_no_evil_monkey::joy:

Let’s see what happens. Going to place it all this weekend. Maybe I’ll be drilling a hole in it this weekend too

I also wouldn’t know if my design would work on a PLA printer since I don’t own one. I only own a resin printer.

I think LED is not necessary when you can hear the lock from outside (which is my case)

This was just a PLA prototype, but it holds its shape since summer even on direct sunlight. If it deforms, I will print it from ABS. Resin should work fine as well.

For anyone, I uploaded it on thingiverse:
