Hi,
I noticed an issue with the Tedee Go when trying to use it in two different ways. Ideally, I’d like to open the door using my doorbell, which operates via the pull-string function. However, enabling the automatic pull-string feature creates complications.
For example, I want the door to lock securely at night but automatically unlock during the day. With the pull-string function enabled, pressing the button to unlock the door causes it to open fully—because once the pull string is activated, the door opens by 5 cm, allowing someone to push it open from the outside.
To address this, I’d love to have two distinct buttons in the app and API: one for “Open Slot” and another for “Open with Pull String.” Additionally, it would be great if this functionality were available in the API so I could set up a webhook for my fingerprint doorbell. This would allow the door to open with the pull string (since there’s no external handle) while also offering an “open-door mode” during the day. This mode would allow people inside to exit freely without needing to press a button or wait for the slot to open fully.
This setup would let us avoid fully locking the door during the day while ensuring it’s convenient for both indoor and outdoor use.
Thank you for considering this feature!
