No response from anyone working at Teedee, while there is activity on many other threads. I guess this feature is canceled by now…
Too bad i’ll have to look for altenatives, thanks for your communication.

Telling people to add Matter Support for the Go and nothing. Never ever tedee anymore.
Hey! I am looking to purchase the Tedee GO to integrate it into my Smart home but I am curious if the Matter protocol is now supported or what the plans are for integrating it. Thanks in advance for your reply!
Cannot Send a PM to @Konrad (I was a user on the old forum) but i’m willing to help test the Matter support. Have a Matter/Thread setup running here with Home Assistant. So hopefully you can add me to the test group.
Here are my 5 cents of a maybe matter/ thread integration:
After more than 1 1/2 years of talking points and waiting and promisis, for me it was time to move forward.
The Tedee Go 2 is a great smartlock, if you want it to use only on bluetooth, or if you you are ok with it to use a separate power consumption bridge.
For me it was never an option to use any devices that needs their own bridge, that’s why i started with home assistant years ago and using a multipan device to have zigbee and thread in one bridge.
Maybe there will be matter/thread support in the future, maybe also in the near future, but we don’t know… and i was tired of waiting.
So today was the day and i sold my Tedee Go 2 and got a competitor devices with working build in thread.
Like i said, if you want to use it bluetooth only ore you are willing to use a second propitary device, Tedee Go 2 is a great choice. also if you think the time to wait is worth it.
If not, you should consider an alternative solution.
There is a post in this forum about matter testing for the Tedee Go so it’s on its way.
I have the Tedee Pro so it’s directly integrated into Apple Home (without the bridge) and it works great over Bluetooth. I came to Tedee from another brand that offered thread and to be honest I’ve not noticed a difference in day to day use. Might be a split second slower but it’s still works well.
In fact it’s got the same reaction time as my Eve Door Sensor and that’s Matter over Thread.
Also a point here: @Konrad asked to send him a pm here in that forum, but there is no option to send him a pm… is it only a handselected group of people who is allowed to do this? Or was it just a hoax?
All the YouTubers that got this lock for testing last year were informed, that the matter update will follow in q4/2025. and still no communication.
Have you tried clicking on his name and when his card pops up click on message.
Yes I do. I use the discourse app on iOS and I can see the message button.
It may be a trust level thing on the forum. As you use the forum your trust level will increase.
Also shows for you.
In this case it makes less sense, to make an announcement, when there are people even not possible to joint testing, and than even not giving any updates.
The Matter support was not part of the specifications on the homepage, but it was part of the marketing strategy when sending this to the product reviewers and let them talking about…
I stand corrected, a new forum user on trust level 0 can send PM’s to other forum members. Apologies for the misinformation.
I can also access the messages button on my MacBook via the website. You could just send it direct from your personal profile by entering the messages section and click on new message and then type in Konrads name
Hello everyone!
I’m a new owner of a Tedee Go, and this is also my first smart lock in general.
First, I wanted to share something I learned from a recent email with the Tedee support team. They mentioned that Matter support is planned to roll out in Q1 2026. Of course, timelines can change, but I thought it was still worth sharing with the community.
Second, I was wondering if anyone has more insight if it would be Matter be over Thread or over Wi-Fi?
If it’s Matter over Wi-Fi, I assume the bridge would still be required.
If it’s Matter over Thread, does anyone know whether the hardware in the Go, Go2, and Pro models already supports this? Based on some articles I’ve read, it seems like it should, but I haven’t seen anything officially confirmed.
Hi @Nikolas It will be Matter over Thread for GO and GO2.
@Konrad I would like to participate on the testing phase, is possible?
Same problem here with PMs as a new user, @Konrad if you would be so kind and add me to testing group also please. Thanks in advance
Thanks for your interest in Matter support and for offering to join the testing group
The testing phase has already ended, and we’re now in the final stage of integration. We’ll share updates as soon as Matter support is officially ready.
That’s great news ![]()
.
Looking forward to it
