well, I’m buying a “new” house right now. We now have the situation, that I strongly want a good working fingerprint (not keypad… they aren’t comfortable…). Competitor have one. Tedee sadly not. So I dont want to move but there is no solution available so I have to sadly
I received information from support that a keypad with fingerprint functionality is supposed to be released by the end of the year.

It is very nice that the support is telling you this and nobody from tedee is providing this information in this thread.
So maybe it is coming in 6 months. Maybe it’s coming in 6 years. Maybe it is never coming - it’s tedee. Have you seen Switchbots new lock? Just saying…
Yes, of course I saw that. That’s also the alternative I’ll switch to if a fingerprint keypad doesn’t appear by the end of the year.
As to the Switchbot lock, I’m just sending it back for its constant jamming, fingerprint not working, often unavailable in HA… Planning to buy tedee, hope it works better, love to have a fingerprint reader with it.
For 6 months I’m using now a Nuki with a fingerprint reader and it just works fine!
And why shouldn’t it? It’s no rocket science, it’s just ones companies laziness that it does not with our Tedee locks.

It is our Lock Pro but with a new mounting possibility for door manufacturers.
Finally, congratz. I hope it won’t be like +100€ to keypad v1 but we’ll see.
Some sneak peek about the when? Maybe I switch back and exchange the smartlocks from my let flat to my house.
