Door sensor data only via Bluetooth – planned fix or oversight?

I’ve noticed an important gap in how door status information is handled.

Right now, there is no way to check the actual door status (open or closed) remotely unless the phone connects directly via Bluetooth. This means that even with a Tedee Bridge fully set up and active, door state data is not accessible through the cloud.

For a system that supports internet connectivity and remote access, this feels like an oversight in the development. The bridge already facilitates remote locking and unlocking, so it seems logical that door status should also be available through the same channel.

Could you please clarify if this feature is planned, and if so, when it might be implemented? It would be a major improvement for users who rely on remote monitoring and automation.

Hi,

This option has been available, but in the lock view and lock settings. The door status you’re referring to is located in the Door Sensor settings and is only visible locally when connected via Bluetooth.
