Configurable pull spring behaviour with lock button

If “automatic pull spring” is activated an unlock via the lock button also pulls the spring. This is unnecessary/inconvenient most times. For my part I fetch keys/phone/whatever while the lock is working and then use the door handle to open. With pulling the spring the door is open in the meantime.

Please add an config switch to enable/disable pulling the spring when using the lock button.

I agree the button should have some additional options/logic since the desired action differs inside to outside. In my case I’d like the opposite of you where the button can only pull the spring, even when unlocked. Either way, independent customisation of the button would be helpful

How do you lock manually when the button only unlocks and/or pulls the spring?

And why use a button when the door is unlocked and the handle is already there/in reach?

In my case I don’t have a handle, the lock/escutcheon is the handle. So arguably in my case there’s no need to ‘lock’ the door. I have sorted a workaround in my case where Ive enabled instant auto-lock when the door closes, since I have the door contact sensor. This means that pressing the lock will always unlock and pull now.
