First of all, great work so far! I’ve been very happy with my Tedee Go over the past two years.
Recently, I encountered an issue where my smart lock became uncalibrated, and I was unable to open the door (thankfully, I had the physical key with me). Upon investigating, I noticed in the log that the battery level was around 19%, yet the app still displayed the battery status as “High.” Despite multiple attempts, I couldn’t recalibrate the lock. However, after replacing the batteries, the smart lock started working perfectly again.
I’d like to suggest two improvements:
- Battery Status Detail: It would be helpful if the app displayed the battery percentage alongside the current status (High/Medium/Low).
- Protection Mode: Consider implementing a “protection mode” that activates when the battery level falls below a certain threshold. In this mode, the smart lock could disable non-essential features (e.g., full locking) to conserve power for emergency operations like unlocking the door.
