# New mode when opening through API

Hi,  
some time ago I requested a new mode when opening lock through API - to force pull-spring, even when auto pull is disabled. Here’s the migrated topic: [Additional unlock mode in the API](https://community.tedee.com/t/additional-unlock-mode-in-the-api/96)

It has been archived and marked as “done”, but I still don’t see such option in API. So, has this been really been done, or mistaken for some other feature, or abandoned completely?
