After update to 1.237.0 a new “Matter” config is added! I got it connected to home Thread Network, so that’s nice. Since matter 1.2 you have the options: lock, unlock and open. Are all of these 3 states working? Lock and unlock are working for me, but open does nothing. I’m using home assistant, when clicking on the “open” button, nothing is happening. @Konrad can you confirm that “open” should be availeble? ---

Matter specification does not define “open” command. Matter defines only Unbolt, Unlock and Lock commands. 1. make sure you have Pull spring configured on Tedee lock 2. please share the lock firmware version 3. to unlatch the lock execute the Unlock command on unlocked lock ---

1. In the app everything is working (also pull spring), with matter only lock and unlock 2. Latest: 2.1.3493 3. That’s what I’m trying This is working: 1. First Lock 2. Than use the Open command (not the unlock command) 3. The lock than unlocks and open. (pulling the spring!) On other matter locks you don’t have to lock first. In the log: [16:19:30.725,311] S\_STAT: MOTIVATION: MATTER, UserID: 0, Param: WITHOUT\_PULL, Marker 8 [16:22:30.494,049] S\_STAT: MOTIVATION: MATTER, UserID: 0, Param: ALWAYS\_PULL, Marker 8 But there is nothing in the log when trying to open the lock when it’s unlocked ---

Same here. “Tedee PRO best suits homeowners looking for premium quality and advanced smart home integrations.” Therefore, the cheaper GO version will get a Matter support and PRO won’t. Make it make sense. ---

It’s the same for me (firmware 2.1.3493), the sequence that works - pulling the spring: lock, open (not unlock). Will it be possible to separate pull command? I would like to use the following Home Assistant action to “pull the spring” action: lock.open target: entity\_id: - lock.tedee\_go data: {} ---

Matter 1.2 added open command exactly to cover European types of locks with latch/pull spring feature. I added my Tedee Go to Apple Home but I can only do lock/unlock actions. This is bad implementation in my opinion because unlock in fact executes open command. My firmware version is: - according to tedee app - 2.1.3493 - according to apple home 1.0.0 (does it mean we won’t be able to update firmware over matter like I can for my other accessories?) @Konrad can we expect proper full implementation of the protocol anytime soon? ---

I did some further tests and I can see that matter commands are not doing what they should but what is configured in tedee app. - if pull spring is configured in the app, unlock command from apple home executes unlock + open - if pull spring is off, unlock command from apple home executes unlock Would it work properly if I calibrated my lock through matter? ---

I tried the Matter only way, removed the lock from HA and the Tedee app. Add as new matter device, did the calibration proces for a new matter device, but no luck. Still needs to close the door before you can pull the spring. This is definitely a bug in the firmware of the lock, i can see the commands from the Matter server, that’s all correct. @Konrad can you confirm this bug, can we help to solve this? ---

You mean that lock now supports all 3 commands? Lock unlock and open? Cause I still don’t see it working at least not in Apple Home with Matter. ---

Unfortunatelly, does not work anymore…. it only worked once, right after the update I an using Home Assistant and problem is with lock.open (lock.lock and lock.unlock are ok) ---

Just in case as I had something similar. Have you tried unpair the device and reconnect it again as a matter device? (You might have tried it already, just in case) From my end: I connected the base GO model with echo show 8 and it works perfectly fine 2 weeks now. Thank you!! ---

In your case yes. When I first connected it to Alexa after a day device was unresponsive. I deleted it from inside the Alexa app, and then pair it again. It worked ever since. So I guess something similar with home assistant might work? Tbh I don’t think is a software issue (if you use the exposed APIs..) ---

This issue still bugs me so I read manual carefully once again and it seems to me it confirms this option is not yet implemented at all. | **Pull Spring** | | --- | | Automatic on unlocking if enabled _Manual option available only in Samsung SmartThings_ | @Konrad I guess this is not a bug but just missing full Matter 1.2 support (earlier versions had just open/unlock/unlatch and close/lock/latch commands). That said we would like to kindly ask for adding missing implementation. Thanks ---

The latest firmware version 2.1.4473 for Lock GO/GO2 has fixed the problem. Please try it out and let us know. ---
